I am getting new toilets installed and was researching plastic versus enameled wood toilet seats. Plastic is polypropylene seat which I know can have toxins. Enameled wood has just that...an enamel finish. I contacted the manufacturer customer service to inquire about ingredients in enamel,  and they said it is a water based paint but could not offer any ingredients. I cannot find any other info regarding concerns toxicity wise about enameled wood toilet seats and have been unsuccessful finding all ingredients. Can anyone offer any insights?
