Beds
A healthy bed and bedroom are extremely important to your
overall health. See Sleep Sanctuary handout for more
information.
Even if you sleep well, what you sleep on for 7-9 hours a night
makes a difference in your overall health. Sleeping on a bed full
of toxins, or bombarded with wifi signals/electricity can interfere
with the restorative benefits of sleep.
We encourage you to use beds without metal. Metal frames and
metal box springs can amplify and distort the earth’s natural
magnetic field, which can lead to non-restful sleep.
Use natural materials for mattresses and bed frames instead.
Natural materials for mattresses include organic wool and natural
latex. Wooden bed frames are beautiful and durable.Mattress options:
Look for organic/non-toxic options. Choices will include organic
and non-toxic mattresses as well as non-spring mattresses for
those sensitive to electric/EMF.
